Leslie H. Gelb is president emeritus of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) and author of the new book, "Power Rules: How Common Sense Can Rescue American Foreign Policy," which discusses how American power actually works and should be wielded in today's world. At the Clinton School, Gelb gives a lecture titled, "American Power Needs American Common Sense," which examines past and current foreign policy decisions throughout our history.
